The closest device in Linear Technology’s portfolio is the LTC3613 pseudo-monolithic synchronous buck, with an external inductor. The LTC7130 has a different architecture in its constant frequency peak current mode control compared with the LTC3613’s controlled on-time valley current mode control. Additionally, it has higher output current than LTC3613 at 20A vs. 15A, higher accuracy, more features, and comprises a smaller solution with better thermal performance due to its BGA package. The LTC3610 is a lower current 12A pseudo-monolithic buck regulator. Linear Technology recommends the LTC7130 over the LTC3613 for new designs.
