NXP’s PLL-based LO generators with integrated VCO from 7 GHz up to 15 GHz provide customers with multiple advantages: all TFF11xxx types are pin-compatible and have similar RF performance, simplifying transition to other frequencies. All devices are RF tested. Even spurious and phase noise are tested in production. The TFF1003 and TFF11xxx can be connected to a stand-alone crystal oscillator for the reference frequency, but it can also be locked to any other external reference. It enables a DRO-free application to a customer therefore higher reliability and stability.
