The surface-mount technology (SMT) header supports automated pick-and-place assembly processes, while the 21 mm low mating height allows for design flexibility. All Power Key 5.0 SMT headers support PCB potting for water-exposed applications and are available in multiple color and keying options to help prevent mismating. An optional terminal position assurance (TPA) device is available for 4- and 6-position versions to provide greater contact reliability.
