TE Connectivity’s (TE) low-profile LUMAWISE endurance N+ shorting and open caps with an integral seal gasket provide harsh environmental protection to receptacles on roadways, streets, and area lighting luminaires prior to the installation of a network lighting control or when one is not required. Shorting caps are also used to designate luminaires for maintenance and to keep lights on continuously for safety. Open caps are used to temporarily disconnect service from individual luminaires while others remain energized on the same circuit. The LUMAWISE Endurance N+ shorting and open caps also provide IP66 water ingress protection, which reduces outdoor light fixture maintenance and extends operating life.
