4kW Bridgeless PFC Eval Board | Datasheet Preview

The very high efficiency single-phase AC-to-DC power conversion is attained with a diode-free normally-off gallium nitride FET with low reverse-recovery charge. This evaluation board integrates a digital signal controller board from Microchip with pre-programmed firmware. Included with the DSC comes Microchip’s embedded design tools within the intuitive MPLAB X Integrated Development Environment. Other features include a wide input voltage range, an input current up to 18 amps-RMS, an output voltage of 387 volts-DC, a PWM frequency of 66 kilohertz, a 10 percent overload short time, and an auxiliary supply of 12 volts-DC.
