LAN8804 4-Port GbE Cu PHY

Microchip's LAN8804 functions as a low-power, quad-port triple-speed (10BASE-T/100BASE-TX/1000BASE-T) Ethernet physical layer (PHY) transceiver. It supports data transmission and reception over standard CAT-5, CAT-5e, and CAT-6 unshielded twisted pair (UTP) cables.

Notably, the LAN8804 adheres to industry-standard interfaces such as quad serial gigabit media-independent interface (QSGMII) and quad universal serial gigabit media-independent interface (Q-USGMII). These interfaces facilitate chip-to-chip connections with up to four Gigabit Ethernet MACs using a single serialized link (differential pair) in both directions.
