1590Z Series Enclosures

The 1590Z series enclosures are part of an ever-expanding selection of die-cast enclosures from Hammond Manufacturing.  They feature thick walls and are designed to meet IP66 and NEMA 1, 4, 4X, 12, and 13 ratings, which make them perfectly suited for applications where impact protection and water-ingress protection are important requirements.  They include corrosion-resistant stainless steel hardware for assembling the box and lid, and can be easily mounted to a wall by utilizing “through box-blind hole” construction which keeps the wall mounting features outside the gasket perimeter, limiting possible entry points for water.

The 1590Z series is available in twenty sizes ranging from 1.98” x 1.77” x 1.19” (50 mm x 45 mm x 30 mm) to 14.23” x 4.72” x 3.17” (361 mm x 120 mm x 80 mm) and three colors (unfinished, black, or gray).  Accessory inner panels are also available.
